SWFL Baseball and Prep Baseball Report team up for SWFL 2021 summer try – outs

SWFL Baseball and Prep Baseball Report – PBR have teamed up for the SWFL Baseball summer try – outs. The try – outs are on January 9 in Fort Myers at Bishop Verot HS and on January 10 in Lakeland at Lake Bonny Park. Players do not have to attend both sessions. The address for each workout is:

Session 1 – Saturday January 9 at Bishop Verot HS – 5598 Sunrise Dr. Fort Myers, FL 33919

The SWFL organization is looking for elite High School baseball players that want to further their baseball careers in college for the graduating Classes 2021-2025. At SWFL we enhance our player’s ability to get a scholarship by matching a school that fits their baseball ability, academic needs, family needs and budget whether it is a D1-D2-D3 or NAIA. The past travel season saw nine 2021 players commit to University of Central Florida, the Air Force, Florida Gulf Coast U, Troy University, Flagler College and numerous Junior College programs. Our 22’ and 23’ classes boast of FGCU, University of Florida and University of Alabama recruits. More offers and opportunities are in the works also.

2020 was one of SWFL Baseball’s finest campaigns and we’re looking to build on our reputation. Our try-outs will feature PBR analytics testing in the cost. PBR will provide data from Trackman and Blast motion analytics and metrics for all pitchers and hitters. This data will be available to the player and college coaches immediately following the try – out. Each session will feature a professional workout that includes 60-yard dash, OF and IF defensive segments and batting practice.

Cost for the try-outs is $250 for a pitcher or position player and $325 for a dual position player. The cost included all the Trackman and Blast motion data and an update to your profile will be held in June at no cost. College Coaches will be in attendance but due to Covid 19 precautions, the number of Colleges will be limited.
