SWFL Instructional Collegiate Camp set for August 20

Southwest Florida Baseball – SWFL Baseball, will be doing their fall Instructional collegiate camp on Sunday August 20^st at the Player Development complex in Ft. Myers, FL. This camp is for returning and open to all prospective new players for the fall season. Last year, Giovanny Lorenzo earned a scholarship to Bethune Cookman after this camp. This camp will have 13 College Coaches attending. Our SWFL Baseball coaches will be evaluating players for the fall teams. The SWFL Camp will feature a 60 yard dash, an instructional segment with college coaches, BP, a defensive segment, and the Pitcher/Catcher showcase will wrap up the camp. This is a great opportunity to interact with college coaches.

Players need to register by Friday August 18^th at 12 noon so we have all information for the College Coaches. Payments can be made online or by cash or check when you arrive. This is a great opportunity and a great value for all players who register for the 2017 Fall SWFL Showcase try – outs

• 2018 returning summer players – $50, Senior special for our returning summer players.
• 2019 – 2021 returning summer players – $100
• 2018 – 2021 prospective fall players or Showcase only participants – $150

The schedule will be as follows: All players must be registered, NO walk ups will be accepted.

2018 – 2021 graduate years:

8am – Registration
8:30 – Introduction and stretch and flex
8:45 – 60 yard dash
9:15 – Instructional segment – College Coaches will be doing the instruction.

• Pitchers – Catchers – Infield – Outfield

9:50 – BP – Fields #2 and #5
11:00 – Infield/Outfield defensive segment
12:30 – Pitcher/Catcher Showcase
2pm – end of SWFL Showcase tryout.

 12 noon – College Coach – Parent seminar: “How do I get the opportunity to play college baseball?”

                        All parents are strongly encouraged to attend this information seminar.
